Podgorica City Stadium
The sports life people of Podgorica begins with the sports club Budućnost. With eight decades long tradition, Budućnost has become the simbol of the Capital.
Football, handball, basketball and karate club are the most successful clubs and they are representatives of Podgorica in the world. The growth and development of football club is followed by building the modern stadion, with the capacity of about 20 000 seats.
Budućnost fans are known as Varvari (Barbarians). The group's traditional colours are blue and white, which are also the colours of all the Budućnost sports clubs.
Sports center "Morača"
The venue is located in the new part of Podgorica, on the right bank of Morača River, after which it got its name.
Construction of this sports complex began in 1978, and various sport facilities are scattered across a five hectare area.
Indoor facilities consist of:
- Large hall (capacity 4.300 seats in the stands and 270 court side seats)
- Training hall
- Combat sports hall
- Swimming pool
- Table tennis hall
- Business facilities
Outdoor facilities:
- Open air swimming pools
- Tennis courts
- Basketball, volleyball and handball courts.
Large hall serves as main indoor arena in Podgorica. It is best known as home of Budućnost basketball, volleyball and handball teams.
