Parliament is a representative body of the citizens of Podgorica.

There are 57 members of the committee in the City Parliament.

Present structure of the City Parliament is constituted at the Parliament Session June 14th, 16th and 21st 2010, after the elections held May 23rd 2010.
At the Constitutional Session the members of the committee mandates are verified and the President of the City Parliament Raško Konjević is elected.

At the Session from May 17th and 24th 2011, City Parliament appointed Ms Slavka Maraš as the Secretary of the Parliament, and she performed that function till November 2011, when it is terminated by the Administrative Court.
 
At the Session from July 19th 2011, Dr Miomir Mugoša is appointed as a Mayor of Capital Podgorica by City Parliament. At the same Session, after the resignation of the President of the City Parliament, Mr. Raško Konjević, whose activity was than terminated, the City Assembly appointed Mr. Slobodan Stojanović the new President, the alderman of Democratic Socialist Party, who performed that duty till November 10th, when it was terminated by the Administrative Court.

At the Assembly Session November 17th 2011, Mr. Slobodan Stojanović was again appointed the President by the Assembly, and Mrs. Slavka Maraš was appointed the Secretary of the City Parliament.
